Live Music Q4 2016

Bon Iver at the Fox Theater.

That's 38 shows for 2016. Well in excess of my annual biweekly target, and exactly the same as last year.

Standout shows for the year include Kamasi Washington, Battles, GoGo Penguin, the Despacio tent at Coachella, and Ibrahim Maalouf.  The biggest disappointment was at Treasure Island, when James Blake's set was cancelled for weather after we stood an hour in the wind and rain. For 2017, I'm already looking forward to Coachella and PJ Harvey.
