Live Music Q3 2017

DJ Shadow @ UC Theater

A relatively slow quarter for music (but big quarter for vacations!), with only 7 shows. That brings me to 24 for the year so far. October is shaping up to be an epic month (Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile, Shawn Colvin, Battles, Torres, The National, Daughter, and Iron & Wine), so I will have no problem hitting my annual target of 26.

GoGo Penguin was probably my favorite of the lot, although Alison Moyet certainly ranks as a special show. The last time I saw her was in June 1994 at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. A lot has  happened in my life (and presumably her life) since then.
