Well, as the year draws to a close, I managed to completely blow away my annual target of 26 live shows (one every two weeks). This year, thanks to several great music festivals and my 3 month sabbatical, I've managed to see 43 shows in 2008 (and that's counting each festival day as one show). That's definitely more than I've seen in any of the last 9 years (1999 was a good year!).

UPDATE: Ooops, I lied. I just picked up tickets to see the Charlie Hunter Trio on Dec. 18. So that makes 44 shows this year!
