In 2008, I saw 40 movies, give or take a few. Here's the breakdown, near as I can tell:
In theaters: 11
Via Netflix (including one on-demand): 20
On planes: ~4 (who can remember?)
Recorded via TiVo: ~5
One thing that had never occurred to me until I did this tally -- in 2008, I saw more live music than movies.
